A dedicated input reactor for frequency converters is an electrical device that relies on the inductive reactance of a coil to impede changes in current, suppressing high-order harmonics generated by the frequency converter. It is typically connected in series between the frequency converter's input terminals and the power supply, hence its name.

The dedicated input line reactor for frequency converters has the following functions:

1. Limiting the voltage drop on the grid side during converter commutation;

2. Suppressing high-frequency harmonics generated during frequency converter rectification and decoupling of parallel converter groups;

3. Limiting grid voltage jumps;

4. Reducing current surges during grid system operation;

5. Improving the power factor of the frequency conversion automation system;

Structural Features:

1. Common dedicated input line reactors for frequency converters are generally dry-type with iron cores;

2. The iron core of the dedicated input line reactor for frequency converters uses high-quality, low-loss imported cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, and the air gap is spaced with epoxy-laminated glass cloth to ensure that the air gap does not change during operation;

3. The coil of the dedicated input line reactor for frequency converters is wound with H-grade enameled flat copper wire, arranged tightly and evenly, without an outer insulation layer, and has excellent aesthetics and heat dissipation performance;

4. The fasteners of the core column part of the dedicated input line reactor for frequency converters are made of non-magnetic materials to reduce eddy current heating during operation.

5. All exposed components of the inverter-specific input reactor are treated with anti-corrosion coating, and the lead-out terminals use tin-plated copper tubing terminals.

6. Compared with similar domestic products, the inverter-specific input reactor has advantages such as small size, light weight, and attractive appearance, and is comparable to well-known foreign brands.

Production Process: The production process of the inverter-specific input reactor requires first assembling the coil and iron core into a single unit, followed by pre-baking → vacuum impregnation → heat curing.

The inverter-specific input reactor uses H-grade clear varnish, which firmly bonds the reactor coil and iron core together, greatly reducing operating noise and providing extremely high heat resistance, ensuring safe and noiseless operation even at high temperatures.
